Qutub Minar
Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a 73-metre tall 5 storey tower which was constructed by Qutub-ud-din Aibak, the founder of Delhi Sultanate, in 1193. It’s design is thought to be based on the Minaret of Jam.
Lotus Temple
Lotus Temple is a prominent attraction of the city beacuse of its unique flower-like shape. It was built in 1986 and is open for everone irrespective of the religion. It has won many architectural awards and has also been featured in many newspapers and magazines.
After having appetizing breakfast, get ready for an exciting journey towards Jaipur. It is a 05 hours drive to pink city. Sit at ease & admire the beautiful scenary. This is one of the important places in your Golden Triangle Tour with Khajuraho and Varanasi. On your arrival, check-in to the pre-booked hotel. After lunch, get ready to explore Sanganer village. That is famous for making handmade paper, textile printing, and Jain temples. After seeing the sight, come back to hotel & relax.
Amber Fort, which was originally built in 16th century by Maharaja Man Singh. It is an imposing fort built on a hillock. Either you can walk up to the fort or can enjoy the ride on a beautifully painted elephant. Next you will proceed to Jal Mahal (Palace of Water), stop in front of it, take some instagram pictures and then move towards pink city. Jaipur is world famous for cutting & polishing of semi precious & precious stone jewellery and hand knotted carpets.
Then visit Jantar Mantar (observatory) located in the heart of the city, which has the biggest sundial & nearby is the ornate Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), which was built for the ladies of Rajput’s harem to see the royal procession on street without been seen by men.
There will be a stop at AC multi cuisine restaurant so that you can have lunch in between the sightseeing. Then move to the City Palace and its museum, which exhibit an exceptional blend of Mughal and Hindu architecture, and houses an extraordinary collection of paintings, Rajasthani armory and costumes. There will be a stop at Patrika Gate also, which is a newly constructed structure for some beautiful instagram pictures. At the last in the evening visit the Birla Temple or Laxmi Narayan Temple which is an exquisitely beautiful temple, where we can participate in Aarti. After concluding the Pink City tour, return back to the pre – booked hotel.
After having appetizing breakfast, get ready for an exciting journey towards Agra. It is a 05 hours drive to Agra. Sit at ease & admire the beautiful scenary. There will be a first stop at Chand Baoli, which is one of the ancient stepwells in India, built in 10th century, where people used to store water in summer. There will be a stop for lunch in between Jaipur & Agra.
Enroute stop at Fatehpur Sikri, erected in 16th century by 3rd Mughal Emperor Akbar to commemorate his victory over Gujarat. It was the capital city of Mughal Empire & it is said that it was more crowded, famous & busier than London in 16th century. It is also the same place where a sufi mystic had forecasted the birth of a worldly heir. After seeing Fatehpur Sikri, continue your journey towards Agra. On your arrival, check in to your pre booked hotel & relax.
Taj Mahal. It is believed to be the most beautiful example of expressing love by 5th Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his much loved companion Mumtaz Mahal in 17th century.
Meet Professional Tour Guide at hotel with Chauffeur. Proceed to the magnificent monument Taj Mahal, the maginificent white marble mausoleum was built by 5th Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal in 17th century. After seeing the Taj Mahal, come back to the hotel for having breakfast.
After having the luscious breakfast at hotel, you will stop at the majestic Agra Fort which was erected in 16th & 17th centuries by Mughal Emperors. It is one of the most beautiful & well preserved forts of India dotted with magnificent palaces.
There will be a stop for lunch in between the sightseeing. Then move on to visit the marvelous mausoleum Itimad Ud Daulah or Mini Taj built in 17th century by Mughal Empress Nur Jahan as a mark of respect to her father. It is also believed to be the first mausoleum entirely built of white marble & lastly, there will be stop at Mehtab Bagh or The Moon Light Garden from where you can admire the view of Taj Mahal at sunset. Later in the evening, comeback to hotel and relax.
After having scrumptious breakfast, transfer to Railway Station to board the train for Jhansi. On arrival at Jhansi, meet up with our representative. Now you will be driven towards Khajuraho via Orchha by private AC Sedan/SUV car. In Orchha, you can visit Raja Ram Temple and Palaces of Orchha. Continue your drive to Khajuraho. On you arrival in Khajuraho, check in to the pre booked hotel & relax.
Start your day with appetizing breakfast then you will meet up with your guide & visit Khajuraho Temples. The temples are divided into two parts– the Eastern group of temples and the Western group of temples. These temples were built in 9th century by Chandela’s rulers. Khajuraho temples are depicting superlative Indo Aryan architecture. The temple walls are carved with pleasurable and erotic carvings represent the daily life of people.
There will be a stop for lunch & after lunch; you will be dropped at the Khajuraho airport to board the flight to Varanasi.
On your arrival at Varanasi airport, our representative will be there to receive you & then you will be taken to your pre booked hotel. Check in to the hotel & relax.
In evening you can make a stop at the ghats of River Ganges to be the part of the auspicious aarti ceremony. Hundreds of devotees come to this place to see the mesmerizing hindu ritual Aarti. If time permits you can walk down to some ghats in Varanasi such as Harishchandra ghat, Dashashwamedh ghat. After seeing the sights come back to hotel & relax.
Varanasi is the most spiritual place of your Golden Triangle Tour with Khajuraho and Varanasi. As per the Hindu mythology, it is believed to be the place, where the soul get salvation & free from the cycle of birth & death.
Set your alarm because this morning you have to wake up early. Our Chauffeur will come to receive you from the hotel and proceed to River Ganges. Enjoy the sunrise view on river Ganges on a boat ride. Come back to hotel and after breakfast continue your sightseeing. Visit Sarnath – a religious Buddhist site, Alamgir Mosque, Beni Madhav Ka Darera, Dasaswamedh Ghat and The Bharat Mata Temple. Other highlights are Ashoka Pillar, archaeological museum and Dhamekh Stupa. Varanasi is famous for silk work so you can visit local markets. If time permits, you can also see some local artworks. After seeing the sights, comeback to hotel & relax.
Start your day with breakfast and stop at few street markets in Varanasi. You can do some shopping on the last day of your Golden Triangle Tour with Khajuraho and Varanasi.
